NDI Chair (Adult Discipleship)
Joseph has attended MVCN since 2014. He is the current NDI Chair, a Sunday morning class teacher, and serves on the Church Board. Joseph and his wife, Trisha, lead a small group. He also serves on various NNU & WAPAC District Boards. Joseph is a partner at the Hampton Lanham Group.
RUSTY HORTON
NMI President (Missions Ministries)
Rusty has attended MVCN with his wife, Lisa, since 2005. He is the current NMI President, a member of the Church Board and a member of the Finance Committee. Rusty works as a management and reporting analyst administrator for the state.

KRISTIN CALDWELL
Kristin and her husband, Clay, have attended MVCN since 2022. She serves as an online host, Sunday morning teacher, photographer for church events, and assists with the women’s Christmas dinner. She is also a part of small groups. Kristin works as an Executive Ministry Assistant at First UMC.
JAMES CHAPMAN
James and his wife, Faith, have attended MVCN since 2019. James serves on the Audio/Visual Team with the Creative Arts Department and facilitates a Sunday morning class. James works for Labor & Industries.
MATTHEW FREEBY
Matthew has attended MVCN for 38 years. He serves as the NMI Missions Vice President and the Church Board. He is an MV Youth leader, church softball coordinator, Giving Tree coordinator, and is a part of a men's group. Matthew works as the Finance Manager for the GET Program.
EMILY GILLIS
Emily has attended MVCN with her husband, Ray, since 2021. She serves as the Nursery Director, is on the counting team, and is a part of a small group. Emily is the Safety and Program Coordinator at Washington Farm Bureau.
SUE GROVER
Sue has attended MVCN for 22 years. She serves on the Church Board, is the Chair of the Finance Committee, a First Impressions host, Hospitality Team member, and Options Pregnancy Clinic liaison. She, and her husband, Tom, also lead a small group. Sue works as a paralegal.
ARNE GUNDERSEN
Arne and his wife, Rose, have attended MVCN for 25 years. He leads a small group, a men’s group, serves on the NDI Board, and teaches Sunday morning classes. Arne works as a dentist.
LYNETTA KRAUSE
Lynnetta and her husband, Ed, have attended MVCN for 30 years. She serves in MV Kids greeting families and checking in the kids, and helps with events. She participates with the Paraguay and France Missions Teams. Lynnetta works as a teacher in the Olympia School District.
CECILY MONTGOMERY
Cecily and her husband, Mat, have attended MVCN since 2020. She serves as a substitute teacher in the Children’s Ministry, serves communion, and attends/substitute hosts the Young Adults group. Cecily is a cardiology nurse practitioner in the greater Tacoma area.
LISA RODRIGUEZ
Lisa and her husband, Luis, have attended MVCN since 2020. She helps with the MV Youth Ministry and serves on the Church Board. She also participates in Sunday morning classes. Lisa works as a teacher at Washington Connections Academy.
TANYA MOORE
Tanya has attended MVCN for 34 years. She currently serves in the Cafe, assists in the toddler classroom, and serves on the Church Board. She participates in a small group with her husband Greg. Tanya works for WA State Parks.
JENNIFER SLEMMER
Jennifer and her husband, Leroy, have attended MVCN for 30 years. She is the Church Board Secretary, MV Youth leader, Seder Service coordinator, Prayer Team Host, and attends a small group. Jennifer homeschools her children and serves her family and the church.
DANELLE WRIGHT
Danelle and her husband, Kevin, have attended MVCN for over 32 years. She serves in MV Kids and is a member of the Church Board. She is also involved in a small group. Danelle works as a middle school math teacher.

Dave and his wife Rhonda have attended MVCN for 6 years. Dave has served on church boards, and currently serves on the Finance Team, First Impressions, and the Funeral Ministry.

Pam has attended MVCN for 65 years. In that time, she has served on the board, and in Youth, Children, and Missions ministries. She currently serves in Women’s Ministries, TC Food Bank, and is in a small group.

Michelle and her husband Phil have attended MVCN for 7 years. Michelle serves in MV Kids and in First Impressions. She attends Sunday Morning Classes and enjoys outreach opportunities with the community.

Dennis and his wife, Linda, have attended MVCN for over 40 years. He serves as a First Impressions Host on Sunday mornings and is involved in a small group and Sunday morning class.

Darlene and her husband, Paul, have attended MVCN for 25 years. She serves as a Prayer Team host, Kids Club leader, and TC Food Bank prayer host. She is also in a small group.

Alivia has attended MVCN with her family her whole life. She serves on the audio/visual team, is a member of the Missions Council, and is on the youth music and leadership teams. She is an active part of the youth group.

Precious and her family have attended MVCN for many years. She serves with the TC Food Bank and has also served in Children’s Ministry in the past in the nursery and for special events.

Rebecca and her family have attended MVCN since 2011. She serves as a communion bread baker, cookie baker for Funeral Ministry, and has attended two trips to Paraguay. She also is a part of small groups.
